Overview
About Me
I am a bachelor student from Austria, currently living in Vienna. I grew up in Austria and went to school here. I was on exchange programme in New Zealand, my first big trip. Since then I travelled to most european countries and to India where I taught english to young students. Also I became more interested in backpacking and interacting with locals and other travellers.
I am a light-hearted person, I like to laugh and love to make other people laugh. Furthermore, I would say I am optimistic, which would suprise everyone who knows of the stereotype of Viennese people being really grumpy (which is actually kind of true ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was younger, my family and I would mostly stay in hotels when we visited other countries. When I grew older, this kind of travelling became less interesting for me. I did not only want to see the typical tourist attractions, churches and other great and beautiful buildings, but rather get to know the way of living in these countries. I found Couchsurfing as an easy opportunity to travel and, more important, to get to know new people.
Even though I am not able to host people myself until I get my own appartement, I am happy to show you around Vienna, a small, but really beautiful city.
