About Me

Hey!

Apparently, nowadays this needs to be said: I'm not now, nor have I ever, used CS as a dating website. ( I have had not welcome experiences )

Now onto my profile -

So a little about me - I'm planning on going to New Zealand for a year in March. I don't really have a plan but that's how I love to live my life - spontaneously. :)

It's so hard to summarise who I am but I wanted to update this to make my profile really representing the essence of who I am. I am a laid back, happy-go-lucky girl who started her spiritual journey last year. I've been traveling almost full time since 2022; I've been to over 50 countries since that day and have had so many wonderful and amazing experiences. Volunteering as an English teacher in Mexico, volunteering in Greece saving turtles, just to name a few. I like to live my life for the experiences.
And couchsurfing is always a memorable experience, I've met so many goddamn amazing people on this website, it's a bit like a drug, haha. So, if you're interested in any of my stories, consider hosting me! :) I bring a wide area of weird knowledge like how to make Indian chai or pasta carbonara (Italians might disagree, haha).

Besides that, I am into a lot of things, astronomy, quantum science, art, theatre, films (I was a film student), biology, taro, herbs, natural medicine. Hit me up and I probably have an interest in everything.

Fun fact, I know how to say thank you in at least 15 languages, so let me add yours to the list!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't have a permanent residence at the moment, as I want to explore as much of the world as possible. I want to get to know a lot more about people's cultures and the way they live. It just feels much more personal and closer to reality and that's what I'm chasing in this life - real people with real stories.

Great song to put at the start of the day.

I have lots of movies which I love. Here is a list of my favourites:

As for books, I always recommend people read:
Sapiens - a brief history of mankind
What are you doing with your life by Krishnamurti.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm gona say I just finished my 3 month volunteering in Mexico where I was teaching kids about my culture and English. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English, also give lots of cooking tips. I can share about my culture and where I come from and what to see in Latvia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my passion for my culture, I can try to cook something Latvian, or I can help improve English skills. I'm also a really good talking partner.
