Hello! I am a Norwegian biomedical scientist 👩🏼‍🔬 I work at the hospital in Hammerfest.

My partner and I are currently in a long-distance relationship, so I live alone at the moment. Being a very social person, it can get a little boring sometimes!

I have tried a few different things so far in life - spent a year in the UK during high school, spent 4 years in the Norwegian Royal Navy, studied Arabic for three years (4 months of which I lived in Jordan), drifted aimlessly around for a bit and then started studying biomedical sciences and wrote my bachelor thesis in beautiful Budapest. At this point in my life I have grown to be very happy and thankful for all the memories and the endless possibilities that life has to offer :)

I have been vegan for 10 years and love cooking, walks, picking seasonal berries, swimming, sauna, tea and good conversations :)

If you’re staying with me, I would appreciate it if you would help me out by walking my Labrador Pablo while I am at work :) He is 5 years old and quite easy-going, I would say!

I am an early riser and I go to bed early. I also don’t drink alcohol, so if you’re a party animal then we’re probably not a great match :)

I only host women and will decline requests from men without further ado.

I love travelling and meeting new people! I'm not huge on tourist traps, and nothing beats staying with a local and learning about their way of life. When I am not travelling, I enjoy hosting couchsurfers because I have found that they are usually very lovely and interesting people, that always broaden my horizon! I believe that food is made for sharing and houses are made to be lived in :)
