Hey, I'm Mária Nováková, a Slovak girl living in Sofia, Bulgaria. I moved here a few years ago to dive into a new culture, and it's been an amazing journey! By day, I’m a graphic designer, blending Slovak creativity with Bulgarian flair. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had was hiking up to Rila Monastery in Bulgaria. It was a full-day trek, but the views were absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful energy of the monastery was unlike anything I’ve ever felt. I spent the night in a small village nearby, eating traditional Bulgarian food and chatting with locals about life. It felt like stepping into a completely different world, and the whole experience made me feel so connected to nature, history, and the people around me. It’s definitely a memory I’ll cherish forever!
