Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like getting to know local people in order to learn about the culture, to better get to know a city or country (than when being with other tourists), and build up a network with foreigners abroad who are free-spirited. I believe that people who do couchsurfing can only be free-spirited and curious - like I am. Once I'll have my own apartment I can imagine to invite them over - currently I cannot offer a place because I am living with a friend myself. while being on some sort of Sabbatical.

Interests

Travelling, Thinking, Talking, Politics, Philosophical and Psychological Discussion, Being with Friends and Family, Sports such as Running, Hiking, Yoga, and Inline Skating and cycling through nice nature or cities. Cards is fun, too, and I'm also into Writing. I am quite visual - love watching movies, looking at beautiful architecture, looking at world class photography and expressionistic arts (e.g. Kandinsky).

Favorite authors so far: Jane Austen and Haruki Murakami

As for Music I'm into Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Oldies, Jazz, Indie, etc. , some of the new stuff such as Ska, but nothing hard. I like rather melodic (that does not exclude techno) and rhythmic stuff.
