I'm a girl who grew up in a small town but didn't want to stay there. I have been renting a small studio apartment since 2014. I'm open-minded and enjoy good conversation. I'm a digital artist and creative thinker. I am rather chatty and you could say i'm a girly girl when you look at me but honestly i'm not always a perfect lady.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

My brother (Lucas Verheij) asked me to make an account, we will be traveling together and so we might want to go couchsurfing together. He's a very experienced host and couchsurfer himself.
We'll visit a few countries in Eastern Europe from the 28th of June till the 14th of July when i'll be flying back home.

If i really enjoy couchsurfing i think i might host some people myself.

I am rather chatty but really do enjoy different topics of discussion, i like discussing movies, (some) politics, philosophy and psychology.

I like cooking for other people and going out for walks in the nice parts of town or somewhere in nature.

I'm not a casual drinker and don't really keep alcohol in my home but am surely up for a fun night out, i'm quite a happy drinker when i do drink.

Música, películas y libros

Music: Jazz & Soul, Lounge music, Indie, Pop, Rock.. Anything that is either beautiful, calming or uplifting to listen to. I don't like aggressive music however (puts me in the wrong kind of mood).

Movies: I like films different from the mainstream, i enjoy good thrillers and like to laugh at bad horror movies, i also very much enjoy drama and romance. But romantic comedy's, empty action movies and sci-fi are not my cup of tea.
Some of my favorite movies: The Shining, Melancholia, Amelie, Stoker, Sleuth (2007), Anna Karenina, Let the right one in (not the American remake), Nightcrawler, Into the wild, and Life is beautiful.
