About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring Canada m from Germany and I work as a secondary school teacher for English and Biology. During my summer break, my boyfriend and I want to explore Canada by car. Our road trip starts in Toronto, and we are going to drive all the way to the West and back again.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy the small things in life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have started couch surfing during my exchange year in the US, and I have met the most amazing people there!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had my first couch surfing experiences in Miami, FL, and loved it from the first moment! I believe that if you want to discover a new city, you have to get to know the people who live there - otherwise it's just boring old buildings. That's why I am always very excited to meet new people - and new couches!
Interests
What I like most in my life is spending time with my friends. Hanging out and having a good talk is one of the best things you can do :)
Apart from that, I love to cook and bake, either alone or preferrably with friends.
I am also very interested in working with kids, so I spend most of my summers going on holiday camps with groups of about 30 kids. We go to the beach, play lots of games, have camp fires or plan day trips to cities. It's a lot of responsibility, and it can be very exhausting. But for me, this is by far the time of the year when I have the most fun , and my favorite hobby!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music, I could not really decide on one style. It is really dependend on my mood! And the memories I connect with a certain song :)
And I love watching old American TV shows like "Friends"!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to pick only a few of those amazing things that I have seen in my life - there are so many beautiful places I have been to!
One of the best places was Tieden National Park in Sweden - a wonderful place, far from high-ways or tourist attractions. Idyllic nature at it's finest :)
Another really impressive thing for me was to see the water fountains in front of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. No nature this time, but dancing water, light and music in the middle of the sparkling city of Las Vegas - unforgettable!
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to be a teacher, and according to my friends, I can be a real smart ass sometimes (not always though!) I like to share my useless knowledge of linguistic facts or biological phenomena :)
