About Me

ABOUT ME

Little woman, sometimes crazy, sometimes serious, I like to talk and cherish especially to laugh with people, undo the world, but most of all do things: plays, music, clothes, fire, meals, huts, trips, inventions...

I'm interested in many many things, and I wonder still whether it is good or bad, because one body will never in a lifetime accomplish all that its brain can imagine. Anyhow, I'm the kind of gal dreaming with eyes wide open, and then trying to do what she has seen.

By the way, professionally, I have been flitting somewhat around. I started to study music and architecture, and finally I worked as comedian, ticket officer, music and circus teacher, assistant dress maker for an open air show, etc.

I renounce to be careerist “well up” and to succeed life in the eyes of others in order to leave space for what I'm really interested in: diversity, people, mixture, art in life more than at work, and, most of all, the biggest blend: traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem, this is how I feel about life right now. This saying always fascinated me, today I never have come as close to the point to live up to it.

I believe if everybody will carry a small stone we will quickly move mountains.

And what about relationships among people ? Huge and eternal question. If everybody communicates as much as possible and does what he or she believes is right – as soon as this is not bounding de freedom of the other or hurting or lacking respect – this would be a beginning of a balanced communitarian life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I host a few couchsurfers when I lived in Geneva with my ex friend (through his profile, Loangyg). It was each time a really great experience, and so nice people!

Interests

I love to jump off the « Sous-terre » bridge and swim down the river, to meet friends incidentally or eat a goat milk ice cream feet in the water. I like the first days of spring time, the storms, wind, lightening and thunder, instead I hate to talk about the weather. I like old friends, sympathetic strangers and new acquaintances. I enjoy enormously to cook together with nice people and share a meal with many guys. I start to appreciate to move on without knowing where to go, not on shining paths. I like the nights by the fire or mostly at the bar, to chat about everything and nothing, to play music or recreate this beautiful world which is also often sick. I love all these moments where sounds or movements allow to forget about everything, everything up to the milli second passing or to come in order to just be at the instant. (Wow! I didn't know me being as lyric. You never finish to know yourself.) This must be one of the reasons why I always was into circus arts (rope), theater or deep into music. Incidentally, last spring I started again to climb and the feeling in top of a cliff is may be not so far out (as curiously is being in love). But most of all I like people (sometimes also those I dislike, we need all of them to make the world go round no?) Nature (I just came back from the Alps where I was with my herbalist sister who showed to me a lot of good and fascinating plants) and arts (upmost music, circus and theater, but also sowing and many more or less useful things we can do with our hands: furniture, garden, animal shadow plays for example.)

Music, Movies, and Books

- Radiohead, Bérurier Noir, The Doors, Nina Hagen, Erika Stucky
- Tom Waits, BJM, Marc Ribot, e.s.t, Noir Désir, Madina N'Diaye
- Anouar Brahem, Tinariwen, Janis Joplin, Mani Matter (Bien que je n'ai jamais vraiment tout tout compris... C'est en Bernois! :-)
- Lhasa, Screaming'Jay Hawkins, Frank Zappa, Karen Dalton
- Louis Jordan, Joy Division, Keith Jarrett, Adela diane

Tony Gatlif, Fatih Akin, Emir kusturica, Jim Jarmusch, Tim Burton
Kerouac, Boris Vian, Castaneda, Sartre, Dürrenmatt
