One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On Oahu - a 6 hour hike along a slippery, narrow muddy path... getting poured on and climbing up a rocky mountain using ropes and roots to pull ourselves up, eating a salad lunch at the top of an extinct volcano with fog rolling over the shockingly green hills surrounding us, getting back to the sauna-like car covered in mud, sweat and rain. Then going down to Waikiki to jump in the ocean and take advantage of their showers... and getting cleaned up for a nice dinner in Honolulu and dancing the night away. All in one day. I like getting down and dirty. And gettin' fancy too. Preferably a healthy balance of both.
