A 22 year old Canadian in Europe for a year, looking for adventure, laughter, and learning. Making new friends is imperative to that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have weekends off and want to see everywhere I possibly can in 2-3 days. Staying in a Hostel is fine, but with couchsurfing, I get to see a whole different side of a place that you miss when you're at a hostel. Also, it's hard to meet people when you're travelling alone, I find.

Interests

I love to read (mostly sci-fi, fantasy but I'm currently reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycles); make art in whichever forms I can, be it drawing, cooking, writing, singing; exploring; climbing trees; having picnics; going out dancing; staying in dancing

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to a bit of everything, genre doesn't matter to me. If I like it, I like it! I have yet to find a heavy metal song that reaaally appeals to me though.

Movies: I'm a sucker for an action blockbuster. Explosions, plot-holes and all. I also like documentaries though I think they should always be taken with a grain of salt.

Books: Currently reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycles, but my favourite author is Terry Pratchett.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a two-week canoe trip to Tamagami in Northern Ontario. It was difficult, but so satisfying.
