i love to be around people, meet new people, discover amazing yet unusual places off the beaten track.. i hate having to be indoors when the sun is out and in summer i try to make my way to the coast, lake, river or local swimming pool as often as i can. also, as a mom, it's my mission to teach my daughter about the world, to be open minded and respectful and curious and grateful!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

long before couch surfing, i was on a road trip with two friends in south africa. we met an elderly couple at sani pass, who invited us to their home in another part of the country, near the battlefields. we decided to stop there, but had picked up two more travelers on the way, so we showed up at the couples house with five people. they hosted us for a whole weekend, completely spoiling us with a great braai, showing us the most interestings places nearby and sharing lots of knowledge on south africa, traveling and life. they were amazingly welcoming and inspiring!!
