About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to experience as much of the world as I can and see some great art in the meantime!

ABOUT ME

To start off, I was born and raised in Philadelphia and have lived here most of my life, and I have a really strong Polish background. Both of my parents were born in Poland, so I can speak the language fairly fluently. I love my cultural heritage very much and am extremely proud of it (pretty much everyone I know can attest to this)!

Although I graduated college with degrees in Psychology and Philosophy, my true passions are for Art History, which is what got my master's degree in recently. It's my dream to work in an art museum or gallery, as nerdy as that may seem to some people, but I honestly love museums and can easily spend all day getting lost in one. After spending a semester in Belgium during my junior year of college, I've become hungry for culture and travel... I love meeting all kinds of people and experiencing different environments, food, and ways of living and embracing the world. I am often restless and enjoy anything that takes me out of my element.

I also consider myself an extremely open-minded individual. It even angers me to some point to see some people so rigid in their thought structures (even if I agree with them) to the point where they're not even willing to listen to a different viewpoint. My mind is often frazzled and all over the place, especially since I tend to be an overthinker. At 4'11, I'm tiny and have somewhat of a Napoleonic complex sometimes, which I'm told is entertaining at least!

PHILOSOPHY

"Carpe Diem"- it might be cliche, but I don't care... I want to live life as if every moment was it's last (without that depressing acknowledgment looming in the back of my mind of course), taking things in fully as I experience them in my own individual way. I also tend to be somewhat of an idealist, believing that things will generally work out for you if you really want something that badly, almost like there's some kind of cosmic karma to this universe. At the same time however, I'm also pretty cynical, tending to see the worst in humanity, even though I've met some pretty awesome individuals who bring out the best! :)
