CURRENT MISSION

Especially during studying, I travelled a lot and I discovered, that I would love to work abroad and to commit myself to engineering of renewable energies in developing countries instead of industrial countries.

ABOUT ME

I live together with my roommate in Cologne in the southern district. We moved together after I travelled for one year.
I'm a vegetarian since 11 years and I love cooking and to learn new receipts.
I'm about to start my engineering PHD in mechanical engineering and renewable energies and I am doing a lot of research.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For me couchsurfing is about meeting new people, doesn't matter if I'm the host or the surfer and to get to know a country from the local perspective :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did couchsurfing with my sister a few years ago in Scotland with a French guy. During my long journey in 2013/14 I stayed at a lot of places and couches of people I met.

Interests

My passion is scuba diving and travelling, but I'm also interested in photography and informatics.
Since four years I do volunteering for Greenpeace and enjoy to take part in activities.
In September (2014) I started my studies in Engineering of renewable energies at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences and I started to work in the foreign aid in Africa in different countries.

I like to hear all kind of music, but mostly rock, ska and some electric music. Some bands I like to listen to currently are:
