Hmm, don't like characterising myself because I have the feeling that even I don't know myself properly yet :-D Sometimes, I am just an ordinary, unimpressive person and sometimes I feel like doing crazy things like dancing passo doble on the street or doing swift decisions like borrowing bike instead of waiting for a delayed train. And it's great when you have friends who join you to do so!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I heard about it a lot and while searching for an accommodation in Glasgow, I suddenly decided to give it a try :-) And my first experience was just amazing! Now I hope I will meet some other couchsurfers when I am travelling abroad!

Interessen

I spend a lot of time in a lab, but apart from that - I can't live without sport - running, hiking, cycling, swimming, cross-country skiing - and without dancing - ballroom dances, salsa and bachata. I also like cooking and I really love when people like my food! :-)

I love Suzanne Vega, Parov Stelar, Nouvelle Vague, Zaz, N.O.H,A., Morcheeba, Beatles, Glenn Miller, Debussy, Rachmaninov... (And Karel Plíhal, Bratři Ebenové, Zuzana Navarová, Tomáš Klus, Traband, Sto zvířat, Ondřej Havelka not to forget the Czech ones:- ) My favourite movies are Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, Forest Gump, Pelíšky, Kolja (Czech movie which won Oscar!), Favourite books: The Chronicles of Narnia, all books from Roald Dahl and Stephen Leacock, most of the stories from Ray Bradbury and Terry Prachett...
