My name is Evan and I am from Ireland and I am on exchange in Berlin, Germany.
I was on exchange in Indiana, USA last year and couch surfed while on a solo road trip across the continent and it was the most memorable and coolest trip I have ever done.

I am social (i think so anyways) and like doing all activites:
-Sports (I mainly play 2 Irish sports but i try everything) and love watching them too
- Going out (pub, bar, nightclubs)
-Indoor (board games , video games, table quizzes)
-Outdoor (Hikes etc) - I am very adventurous and will do whatever activity a host can challenge me to.

I interrailed across all of Europe ( Germany, Italy etc) in 2022,
Explored the more off the beaten track part of Europe in 2023 (Albania, montenegro etc)
Visited Cyprus, Turkey, Switzerland and more in 2024.
Spent 1 year in America in 2023/24 and visited as much of the country (and Canada) as I could

And am currently trying to see more of Europe while during my exchange visit here in Berlin for 6 months:
Finland, Romania, Norway (Svalbard), Poland and luxembourg.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just joined to app and looking to meet people in new cities and make friends (even if only temporary) 1.5 years ago and it was the best decision ever. Have not had the chance to use it again until now!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I represent Ireland in the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2021.This was a big honour to represent my country in a very prestigious competition such as this.
I have been to 26 countries and counting by the age of 22.
