About Me
A translator by trade, a lover of life and of travel. A foodie with an unquenchable thirst for exploring the new and discovering the world. I am originally from the USA, but now live with my boo in Mexico City. I'm fairly shy but am really quite a chatterbox once I feel comfortable around you, I'm a pretty chill guy, and I'm back on couchsurfing after a few years away.
I'm also a bit of a bibliophile (love books) :P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect with locals and fellow travelers while I travel, and share great moments.
I am not a typical traveler, while I do like seeing a city's most iconic (touristic) spots, don't get me wrong, I also love exploring off the beaten path and getting a more local experience in the places I visit. I think couchsurfing is a great way to make connections with locals and to see and get to know another side of a city one would not usually see when simply walking about touristic spots.
I'm pretty open to seeing your side of the city, where you like to go and what you like to do =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'll probably give a different answer each time you ask, I've seen many amazing things, some great, and some not, just ask!
Nevertheless, if I had to pick one I would say my solo around-the-world trip I took from Spain, to Dubai, to Australia, to Singapore to Los Angeles, yeah, that was pretty cool.
Oh, I also hiked a volcano in Guatemala with zero prep time, went down Mexico's largest water slide on the Mexican riviera with no swimming skills, those were challenging but rewarding.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you with English (my native tongue) or Spanish (C1), I will also be more than happy to engage in a lovely broken-French conversation, or at least try to! I can share stories from my travels or adventures in Mexico.
I'm not that great of a cook, but would happily invite my host for some grub :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Interesting stories, a nice chat, positivism, a lovely pot of tea or coffee, or some help with English or Spanish.
