Couchsurfing allows me the freedom to not have to stress over affording overpriced hotels or BNBs - and it seems to be a much better way of meeting the most engaging and friendly locals wherever I go.

My interests vary widely and are innumerable, but mostly they are motivated by my desire to escape my own closed-minded culture and learn about life outside my factory town 🇺🇲➡️🌍

I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and try couchsurfing for the first time by backpacking - solo - through Northern Ireland. I got to cross the north coast and Giant's Causeway off my bucket list, as well as Belfast, my ancestors' home region around Gleno, and the walled city of Derry. I was nervous for most of it, but the feeling of accomplishment was incredible!

I am more than willing to clean up after myself wherever I go, and if you're interested then I would be happy to tell you about my own home 🌎🇺🇸
I will even offer my own couch to crash on in return if you ever plan on traveling east of Chicago while in the 'States 🙂
