ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Evan. I'm from Seattle but for the last few years I've been teaching English in South Korea. I love traveling. If I could make a job of it, I would. Come to think of it, I kind of have already with traveling and teaching English! But I also like to travel without having to work. I was lucky growing up to have parents who loved traveling, and we went on many trips to foreign countries. Since then, I've been addicted to traveling and seeing new places. In university I studied cultural anthropology. I love experiencing new cultures and learning as much as I can about them firsthand. Some of my favorite places that I've traveled to: Australia, New Zealand, Laos, Costa Rica, India, and Italy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty outgoing and like to meet people. I want to try couchsurfing to meet some people who know the local area better than people just passing through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had much experience at all but I'm keen to try it out! I've stayed in plenty of hostels and I love socializing.

Interesses

Travel, outdoor activities, photography, books, movies, ANYTHING. I'm never bored because there's always something fun to do.

I've been fortunate enough to travel to many places. I've gone scuba diving in beautiful oceans, climbed through canyons, explored temples, surfed sand dunes, jumped off a bridge and a tower, and there are so many more things I want to do!
