关于我
CURRENT MISSION
Turn my shack into something grand and have a garden.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small town in rural Ontario. Took French Immersion and finished it. Traveled to BC as a youth and fell in love. Went to college for the sake of it. Worked many interesting jobs, though none of them involving much interesting people. Still work for a company doing bush work and getting to see the world. I've worked in every province and territory in Canada except the Yukon and PEI- Newfoundland and BC and Quebec are my favorites. I love getting the opportunity to learn different languages and embrace different cultures. Music lover, duh. I love to eat new foods.
PHILOSOPHY
Anything from the book Walden by Henry David Thoreau. I had extrapolated a multitude of 'my new favorite quotes' from reading this literary gem.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I opened my account by the advice of a friend. I hope that I can make myself the time to travel and use it up. I have never done the hosteling thing either, so maybe I would try it too. It sounds like fun. I live at my parents house while I work on my one-room schoolhouse residential renovation, but they spend their summers out and about so I am generally left with a nice old house to stay in, al solo.

Don't hold your compass too close to your body: the magnetic field emitted by your own body can sway the needle of the compass and send you hundreds if not thousands of meters off course.
