HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think couch surfing is the best way to get to know people and their cities. I hope that someone will come out to Pullman so that I can return the favor. I think the couch surfing concept is excellent. It's a great way to foster understanding between people and cultures. You have to throw out expectations and leave yourself open to the experience. A little crazy, but I'm excited to become an active member of this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Be my first host or my first guest, please! I have no couch surfing experience to speak of, but I do love to travel, meet new people and hear inspiring tales over a campfire, a latte or a board game :)

兴趣

The thing I enjoy most is hanging out with my boyfriend or my girlfriends, watching a movie and eating loads of junk food - hopefully a BLT, too. We talk about daily happenings and more philosophical topics as well. I think this is a good snap shot of my interests because it's not about what you do, it's who you're with that counts!

That being said, I also love outdoor activities, fitness like yoga and Pilates, trying new foods, going out to eat, traveling to new or favorite destinations, going to the theater and having time to lay in the grass/sand and soak up the sun.

Movies: Stardust, Role Models, Forgetting Sarah Marshal, Bye Bye Birdie, Enchanted and, my guilty pleasure: Twilight.

Books: Pride and Prejudice, Water for Elephants and the Twilight series.

Music: Jason Mraz, Ben Folds, Ingrid Michaelson, Belle and Sebastian, Weezer, Fountains of Wayne, Juno soundtrack, and 80's oldies etc... I also like genres like Jazz and Folk, but I'm not as familiar with them. Basically, I like music that easy to sing or dance to and makes me smile.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I sold 48 cheesecakes in a fundraiser for our high school band. Oh, those were the days. My mom only bought one of them, too.

教，学，和分享

I love learning how to do different crafts - many of which are becoming lost arts! I know how to knit and crochet, but only basics like hats and scarves. The basics are easy to learn; I could definitely teach you.

Depending on your experience with yoga and Pilates, I might be able to share some of my knowledge. I'm no expert, but I do have a great down dog!
