My personality is pretty friendly and upbeat. I am always seeking positive experiences, working on the good, and often seeking a humorous side to most situations if possible and appropriate (and even sometimes when not--lol). Life can be pretty frustrating, depressing and/or feel pretty hopeless if you hang your coat on too few hooks or take it all too seriously. I no longer subject myself to that kind of living (which ultimately felt like dying to me...). So I try to find joy, authenticity, meaningfulness, even love on some level in every day encounters.

I pretty much feel like the planet does not need saving. I believe the planet will do as the planet does and can shake us off of it at will--and likely will someday. We can and are doing a pretty good job of ruining it for ourselves and countless other organisms. I try to do right by my little corner that I can influence (which seems to be enough work in and of itself) and more or less ignore the rest. What can I do about? How can I impact real change outside of my influence? I can't. So for me it's a matter of appropriate resource allocation--mine. I see us more as overly complicated little apes (complicated by an overuse and access to cheap fossil fuels for too long) who are just dancing and babbling along trying to make good lives--but for too many make it all way too complicated.
