ABOUT ME

I am a nature Lover, Always have been, I have a deep connection with the forest. I love to be in the forest as much as possibly. I love plants! Trees and rivers and tides and the moon. I love to help in any way that i can, in any situation. I am spiritual, I appreciate all forms of religion and see beauty and wisdom in most every religion I encounter. My life has ebbed and flowed with the rivers of time, from school, to travel to meaningful work with kids, gardens, and and elderly people.

Have faith in the universe. Be unattached and free, Serve all of creation. Dream! Be Humble. Believe in magic. Be devoted. Courageous. Fearless. Respect your elders and embody their wisdom. Play like a child, and embody their youthfulness. Explore. Know yourself. Do yoga and breath from your dan tien. And dance!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a great listener, I am very sensitive and try to be helpful in any way I can be whether it be listening, cooking, entertaining, singing, making music, sharing music, doing yoga, giving massage, playing with children, going for walks, cleaning, to braiding hair.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a new couch surfer, have couch surfed at two places in the US, Albuquerque, New Mexico. i am Traveling In India as one now and open and excited to meet other people traveling to share experience and stories.

Interests

I am interested in so many things sometimes I feel like I am a star burst, bursting out in every direction. I am a farmer, and a gardener, I love to plant seeds and watch them grow, or just plant them and have someone else eat the beans or squash that has grown from them. I have done this several times, as I have been a traveler for many years, though I have been settled for long amounts of time in between traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Music so much.I have always been so affected by sound, whether it is the sound of rain on a tin roof, someone breathing or someones heartbeat, rhythms made with sticks and whistles to real instruments. I love bluegrass so much, I love all tribal music and music from all cultures. African, Indian, Nepalese, South American. I am a musician myself, love to sing and play piano, guitar, banjo, drumb, flute and many other instruments. I read books, I pick up a book when I need to and it just happens to be the perfect book for me at the perfect time in my life, they jump off the shelf. I enjoy reading about natural medicine, a lot of non fiction, yoga, meditation, Buddhism, Tantra, Tibet, India's festivals, Native American Wisdom, Celtic Wisdom, natural birthing traditions of tribal cultures, astrology, I-ching, Tai Chi, Ayurveda, ancient civilizations, life under the sea,on other planets, the cosmos, and much more. Movies...I love kung-fu movies actually, and all movies with martial arts. I love watching martial arts movies and being in awe of the ART, the dance, the coordination, the tallent, the skill of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been connection with Tibetan Shamans, have taught English to Tibetan Monks.

I think the most amazing thing I have done in this lifetime... is connect with my soul, by being, my divine self, the deeper parts of I Am, that are hidden to the unconscious eye, though are visible if one wants to see. I see these parts of myself and feel that it is the most amazing thing.

I love to learn from the old and young, people who don't speak my language, people who are great musicians, people who can dance with me.
