I love photography, film, visual art and traveling. So now I'm trying to do as much of all of those things as possible =)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Crashing couches has always been mostly how I traveled; I've slept on many couches, floors, etc, and had many people on my couches and floors over the years.

A few years ago I spent six months in Mexico and met some really great people there, many through couchsurfing! The summer after that I drove around New Mexico in a tiny Nissan and met many more great people from here! I'm so excited to now be meeting people in South America, and specifically Colombia. Since my family is from Colombia, meeting and staying with other Colombians is exactly how I want to be traveling here.

Watching: Everything all the time. I discovered the 1990 film Trust and am a big fan. I love film noir - I love In a Lovely Place and Notorious- and neo-noir too- Brick is one of my favorites.

Whiskey, cupcakes, food, sad stories about how I can't smoke cigarettes anymore but really want to, plus my famous "they charge extra for drinks with ice in them in Alaska" stories.
