Overview
About Me
Hi! I am Eva, a Dutch girl who is living in Rotterdam, but following a master in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Utrecht. Last February I started with my final research about the sharing economy. Hopefully I will graduate this summer. In the meantime I am working at a cinema or I hang out with friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel. When I am traveling I like to meet local people and Couchsurfing is the best way to meet them, I think. Couchsurfing is more personal than a hotel for example. Also I like to meet new people via hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a fan of Nick Cave and Sivert Hoyem, but I also like other types of music, like techno when I go out. I am working in a cinema, so I see a lot of movies, but most of the time I like art house movies the most. I love the read, but my all time favorite book is the Shadow of the Wind of Carlos Ruiz Zafón.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18 years, I moved to Barcelona for six months to do a traineeship in arts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am living in Rotterdam for six years, so I know a lot of nice places to visit. If you want I can guide you around the city. Also it is an option to visit other cities in the Netherlands. I am from Amersfoort, a city in the middle of the Netherlands, so I know that area quite well.
Countries I’ve Visited
