ABOUT ME

I am a new immigrant (Oleh Chaddash) to Eretz Israel. I am 28 years old, 5'11, 180 lbs. In good health. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine and I grew up in America. I enjoy traveling, reading, snowboarding, and spending time with friends. I made Aliyah recently (about 2.5 months ago) because of my Zionist political beliefs and because I simply like it here in Israel very much. I have a 4 year degree in psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), and a few years of management experience (small-medium sized operation).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time on this site. Right now I just want to find somewhere to stay overnight in Haifa. I think this is a neat idea and I hope it will be an interesting experience. Maybe soon I will be participating fully on this site, hosting people at my place and everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like art films/indie films, sci-fi films, and gangster movies.

Music: hard rock, grunge rock, and classical music.

Books: I look for books that contain some kind of wisdom. I like reading books by 'virile authors', often the theme involves the artist living a kind of 'hyper-realistic' lifestyle...so I like books by Charles Bukowski, Louis Ferdinand Celine, Knut Hamsun, Henry Miller,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a road-trip across America with several of my friends. It was an amazing experience.
