Born and raised in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I used to go camping with my parents in France and Italy every summer, since I was very little. My love for travel and adventure started right there.
Finished my Masters Degree in Child Psychology in 2012. Have been traveling on and off during and after my studies. Untill 2,5 years ago I decided I wanted to travel in a complete free way, without any strings that made me have to go back to NL after each trip. So I quit my job, got rid of my house, sold all my stuff and unregistered as a resident. Best decision I ever made. I have never felt more happy and free!
Since then I have worked and traveled around Australia mainland, Tasmania, Hong Kong, Bali, New Zealand, Hawaii, LA, Mexico and Guatemala. And now Chicago will be my last stop before heading home for a bit!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love the whole concept of couchsurfing. Travelers helping travelers. I love meeting locals, getting to know a place through their eyes. I have already met so many amazing people through couchsurf (and hitchhiking!). It all makes me believe in the good of people. Treat people how you want to be treated. One day, when I have my own place again, somewhere in the world, I will pay it forward 🙏🏼🕉
