Jessy James LaFleur is a travelling Spoken Word artist, wandering the million paths of this earth as a nomad since almost 14 years, always on the quest for new adventures to write about!

She speaks 6 languages and uses 3 of them to interpret the colourful thoughts and ideas that run through her mind: Sometimes mellow and literarily, at times loud and and demanding.
But always thoughtful with a hint of anarchistic flavour.

She performs her creations world wide, mainly in Germany, Austria, France the UK and Belgium!
She hosts 2 poetry events in Berlin (BubbleSlam/Wortakkord), Bernau (bAernau sLam) and Hannover (Die Reimzeichner), is the initiator of a European Spoken Word collectif and hosts creative writing/performance workshops for teenagers with learning 'deficiencies' (she prefers to call them underestimated superheroes).

She is currently in the process of finishing her 2 first books called 'Confessions of a paper plane' and 'Oh wie schön ist Revonnah' and lives in Berlin, where she also works as a part time graphic designer and tour operator for musicians.
