I'm a journalism student from Finland. I've lived in United States, first for a year in Nebraska as an exchange student and then six months in Maryland, just outside of Washington DC as an au pair.
I have just moved to Helsinki from Jyväskylä when I started studying here. I like meeting new people and getting to know about different cultures. Traveling is close to my heart although I can't travel as much I would like to.
I'm a very positive and relatively busy person, but would be happy to meet up and show Helsinki to travelers.

I love meeting people from different countries and cultures. I would be happy to meet up in Helsinki and show people around the city. When traveling I like seeing the culture and the city as it is for the locals, not just the tourist areas. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to meet people!

兴趣

I like going out to different events or just to enjoy the city. Love music and going to concerts and festivals. I like to read and watch movies. Baking and cooking is fun, but since I live alone I rarely bake anymore or cook anything special.

I listen to all kind of music. I often randomly choose a playlist to listen to on Spotify. All movies except horror are fine. My two favorite movies are Breakfast at Tiffany's and Spotlight. I really enjoy reading a lot but don't have enough time to read. I read all kinds of books and have a long list of books I want to read but also keep going back to the old favorites. I'm a big Harry Potter fan - mostly books, not so much the movies.

It's hard to pick just one. Have many stories to tell from my travels. But if I had to choose one I'd say my six months as an au pair outside of DC. It was a great experience, met many wonderful people and got to do things I don't think I otherwise would've ever done, like spend New Years Eve in New York City.
