Originally from Canada, I work with young people in London. For me, the most important thing in life is taking chances and seeing what opportunities come your way. I like music, camping, exploring, and adventures.

兴趣

I like music a lot and listen to a lot of different stuff. I firmly believe there is an album for every occasion, and many of those albums have been produced by the Mountain Goats. I play the piano, the ukulele, and I enjoy singing too. Im an outdoorsy person and I love canoeing, hiking, and climbing. When Im in cities I like to go on adventures and find interesting buildings and people. Sometimes traveling and camping can have its low points, but I think that any situation can be brightened by storytelling and a good attitude. For this reason, you will always find me with a smile and a book.

Right now Im reading a lot of Nabokov. I really liked Invitation to a Beheading and The Real Life of Sebastien Knight. Lolita not so much. I also like Orwell, Philip Pullman and of course, J.K. Rowling.

I listen to a lot of music, but I always find myself coming back to Animal Collective, The Mountain Goats, Tom Waits, Madlib, and Billie Holiday

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The other day I saw a hip hop group teach a bunch of 5 year olds a dance. Five year olds. Dancing in sync. B Boy style. Yeah.

I love to learn things I never thought I would know, so Im open to anything you can teach me! I recently took a botany class on Canadian plant species. It would be cool to learn about the things that grow in the American South, since thats where Im currently headed. I can teach you a few cool phrases in Arabic, or I could teach you a song or a story. I know a few good jokes too! I also know how to bake bread, and will bake you some bread if you ask me.
