ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing, avid learner and talker -- with the right people. Everyone is the right person if you approach them the right way and at the right time, though!:) I am a firm believer in living life well, and that means treating yourself to lots of the 3S - sleep, showers, and sunshine. I don't mind living and sleeping very cheaply if it means I can travel and see more of the world. If you're interested in meeting up sometime, I'm down!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm open to meeting new people and trying new things :) Am new to Couchsurfing and I live in a student dorm so I can't host people :'( (or can only do so in special circumstances, and generally only female) but we'll see what happens!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - The Lovely Bones-Alice Sebold, The God of Small Things-Arundhati Roy, everything from Terry Pratchett, Diana Wynne Jones, Gerald Durrell or David Sedaris, travel books. I like reading self-help books sometimes, they can be motivational (for a short while).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sat on an altar mound watching the sun set over Angkor Wat, as Cambodians have done for 800 years.

I can tell you all about Malaysia, my country :) And also if you're interested in traveling in South East Asia/the United States, I have some recommendations!
I also give great back massages. But only when I'm happy.
