About Me

I have the vision to create a platform of people from different spheres who engage with the senses and to initiate sensory events. One of my aims is to inspire, teach and share ways of tuning your senses and using them creatively of more colourful, abundant, pleasurable, poetic, authentic and mindful ways of living.

I`m also seeking independence and growth on all levels - emotionally, materially, spiritually, intellectually and socially. I love to inspire others to find their ways to do so too.

I´m full of contradictions and I love to watch them merge or take turn. I`m constantly searching for beauty inside and outside. I can see deeper meaning behind everything - even in the seemingly superficial - looking at the bigger picture from above (that`s also why I use to go up on the highest view points wherever I go). I`m interested in letting go and controlling at the same time, going with the flow and planning, in the relations between life and death and what`s supposed to be beyond, in the soul and mind, in leisure and work, in arts and mainstream, silence and sound, meditation and passion...

Allow yourself to have big goals and calmly and patiently make steps towards them continuously. Always take care of your deepest needs, follow your passions and do things you really love.

“Moving towards your goal is like returning to the past when ice-cream was delicious, hope was bright and life was still joyful and promising. Do not despair – the past lies just ahead!”
― Vadim Zeland, Reality Transurfing

“So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.”
― Jon Krakauer, Into the Wild

Or as a friend of mine used to say: "Life is like a big buffet - you should let yourself enjoy a bit of everything!"

Negative experiences are there for reasons. They help us to change and make us enjoy the positive ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It`s one of the most exciting ways of traveling I know. How can you really get to know places if you don`t experience how locals live, feel and sense it?

I had surfed in Paris, Milan, Granada, Berlin, Vienna, Sofia, Pristina, Bukarest, Sarajevo, Bologna, Munich and Ludwigsburg so far and I´m grateful to have met some of my current friends in through CS...

SENSORY MATTERS: collecting spices and mini perfumes from all over the world, Contact Improvisation and body work, multisensory arts and design, Sensory Theatre Labyrinth, Sensory Intelligence, sensing atmospheres of places, atmospheres, cultures and moments, mindfulness and conscious sensuality, here and now, connecting, intuition, anthropology of senses, sensory and artistic ethnography, sensual therapies like aromatherapy, ASMR, perfume education, spices, food photography, the art of cooking, gourmet and tasting, chocolaterie, cuddle parties, blind activities, Dinner in the Dark, colours, soundscapes, perpetual walks, touch, sensory novels, massages, cakes and baking traditions, rose oil, sound healing, Permanent breakfast, eye contact events and other social experiments, silence and its sounds, audio walks, sound art, sensory marketing, experiential pedagogy, silent gatherings...

Freedom and independence! The themes of my life. I`m constantly searching for and trying out new forms of living and working independently from the restrictions of the "matrix". Most of all I`m interested in freeing your mind and emotions so you can grow and go beyond borders.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A walk through a jungle in Goa getting to know people living there without any house and almost without any stuff. In that period of my life I was looking for a spiritual guru, and what I found was a guy with a photo of his own guru who looked exactly like my boyfriend from that time!

10-day-courses of Vipassana meditation - meditating all day long changes your view on life radically. You learn to observe suffering objectively instead of rejecting it! You actually learn to witness physical and emotional pain without suffering.

Taking part in the "Empathy Festival" in the village of the Center for Experimental Configuration of Society (ZEGG) in 2011.

Living in Barcelona for a year and in Berlin for a few months! Bursting urban creativity and excitement!

Living in Bulgaria for the last 7 years now. What started as a career trip in contemporary arts has become an ongoing spiritual journey in a wider sense.

Going on night walks (a concept by the "Institute for Silence Research", Sofia) in total silence in Sofia and other cities for 24 hours - through "urban woods", abandoned places, climbing view points... Life, imagination and arts merge, you gain a poetic gaze on your own city, lose orientation, feel like having landed on a strange planet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I`m passionate about LEARNING more about all the sensory stuff I listed above and to SHARE experiences and what I`ve learned so far!
I want to go deep into all kinds of Sensory Studies and the art of listening, smelling and tasting and writing about it.
I want to LEARN from creative entrepreneurs, bloggers, cultural managers, photographers, web designers, perfumers, gourmets and all kinds of sensory practitioners and business people!

I`m happy about contributions and advises for developing my archive of scents, perfumes, spices and sounds!

I can SHARE sensory experiences (s. interests).
I can SUGGEST or show you interesting and curious places, activities and people in Munich, Barcelona, Berlin, Sofia and Plovdiv.

I can TEACH cooking skills, yoga, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), mindfulness, German basics, about healthy nutrition...
