Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling to Central and South America in the past few years I often found shelter in the couchsurfing community (using my boyfriends' couchsurfing profile - that's why there is not reference on mine). I figured out that living with natives gives a much deeper insight into the culture of a country / region than travelling from one tourist feature to another. I experienced many joyful and interesting hours while spending time with locals.
