I’m currently an undergradute at Princeton University thinking about studying philosophy or physics. I’ve lived most of my life on the east coast of the US, except from 4th to 8th grade, when I studied in China. I’ve been a massive movie fan since I was a kid, and I explored my passion for film in high school both by making short films and running my own film magazine called 151MM. Recently I've taken up photography, after spending a year saving up for a camera (currently saving up for an HTC Vive). In my free time, I play guitar, read, and volunteer at my town's first aid squad as an EMT. I have a pet leopard gecko called Kimmi and two younger siblings at home. Can't wait to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For much of my life I've felt like a rat in a maze, severely limited by the places I could go and people I could meet. The range of thought and belief existant amongst different people is utterly incredible, yet as a tourist alone it is difficult to experience it. I believe you can't really know who you are until you've run through the gamut of scenarios and realize how different or similar you are from the others you meet. Couchsurfing is a catalyst for understanding and revelation
