About Me

To be everywhere.

Get me outside! I love the world, I love people, and I would love to meet you. I try to fill my spare time by experiencing my local surroundings to the fullest by checking out new trails, events, and activities. And I like stories.

Sempre Avanti. Live, learn, and keep moving forward.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've participated in CS by involvement in local CS gatherings and meeting up with multiple travelers passing through Bergen, Norway during my time there. While I could not technically host where I was living, I was able to welcome some CSers into gatherings and cabin weekends with friends. Someday I greatly hope to be able to be involved as an active host, but until then, I love meeting travelers as much as possible!

Excellent!!! I've met some of my greatest friends though CS groups and it continues to bring me in contact with more and more interesting people. Love this organization and how it opens doors for people to gain unique and personal experiences.

Rafting, geography, anthropology, meeting new people, teaching, backpacking, learning, testing my personal limits, and taking too many pictures. That sums me up pretty decently.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sweet tunes of many sorts, thought-provoking or completely ridiculous movies (quite the polar opposites), and books that make me want to live with my eyes wide-open.But I must say my favorites of each would be Sigur Ros, Life is Beautiful, and Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Berlin for New Year's Eve, Dublin for Saint Patrick's Day, Venice for Carnevale and Redentore, sailing the coast of Croatia, the Arctic Circle for both the northern lights and midnight sun...I'm a very lucky gal. And I've rafted some fantastic rivers, too, and I'd love to talk your ear off about them if you so desire to listen to me enthusiastically ramble on....

Teach, Learn, Share

This will take some serious thought...let's discuss when we meet :)
