Hi all!
My name is Zheniya, I am friendly open-minded person who absolutely in love with travelling!
I was born the Far North of Russia, but have been living in Saint Petersburg for last 10 years. In June 2017 I quited my job and went on a journey. In the beginning of my trip I moved fast , but now i prefer to spend min a week in one city for performing slow immersion into local life and doing more things with my new friends in cities i stay. Since a war has begun, I settled down in Kazakhstan.
I love life, its breathtaking moments and surprises, discovering the world. I enjoy cooking very much, so i would be on seven heaven if you share with me some national recipes :)
It's a big pleasure for me to talk about traveling, politics, economics, cinematography, contemporary art and plenty of other topics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First time I tried CS summer 2017, when I and a friend of mine were hitchhiking 1 month around Europe.
And I was totally amazed of how much the impression of the city depended on CS experience.
I met amazing people and because of them fell in love with their city!
So time together with a good host is really the best way to find out the country and city,find new friends and get the best experience.
I wish to become an awesome host one day, just need to come back home :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to dark wave and post-punk at home, as well as jazz and symphonic live music because of its energy. On party I prefer electronic music like techno, minimal, trance, dubstep.

I am fully in love with Cinema, and watching a lot of movies. My favorite filmmakers are Lynch, Tarantino and Kim Ki-Duc.
I also love serials and cartoons. The last I enjoyed are "Rick and Morty", "Twin Peaks 3s", "The Knick"
, "Game of Thrones", "From".

Sci-fi and adventure books are the most love, because they are immerced me in other, special world and give vent to the imagination.

Bungee jumping from the roof

Hitchhiking month around Europe
