I was introduced to Couchsurfing by my friends, and all of them claimed it to be an amazing experience. Each city has its charm, atmosphere, and unique locations, most of which are simply out of foreigner's sight. Moreover, I advocate the opinion that you can't get a full traveling experience without a local's helping hand.
The cultural exchange also plays a big role. I believe that you can not only broaden horizons but become a better self by comparing your own lifestyle, beliefs or interests and taking the best out of its differences.
