Overview
About Me
Hi! I was born in Moscow but I’ve been living in Lyon (France) for three years since 2022. I used to work as an urban anthropologist👨🏫, and now I’m doing my master’s degree. I also take part in archaeological digs — I love learning about cities and their history.
I enjoy hiking, being in the mountains, and spending time outdoors. I sing in a choir and practice self-defense to stay active. I usually prefer mountains to the sea… but when I go swimming, I stay in the water forever 😄
I like discovering new places and meeting new people. You can see some of my adventures on my insta @roi.apathique
let’s connect the world🙌

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To me, Couchsurfing is about building small bridges — quiet gestures of trust that bring the world closer, kinder.
In times when many turn away, even a shared story or meal can open a door.
There’s no better way to feel the soul of a place than to live, briefly, with someone who calls it home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During an archaeological dig, I once accidentally covered myself in thousand-year-old paint we had just uncovered
I also lived near Mont Blanc for six months and went skiing only once when I accidentally ended up on a red slope. It was a fast way to learn I’d say :)
I went paddleboarding in the open sea — right into a storm. Not the smartest choice, but definitely one of the most unforgettable
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you good and bad words in russian and share some stories !
What I Can Share with Hosts
I find joy in long walks and quiet mornings spent cooking something simple and warm — I'd love to share a walk with you, or start the day with a good breakfast together.
But more than anything, I hope we stay in touch, as friends — and keep building those small bridges between our cultures, our countries, and our lives.
