Hello! My name is Evgenia. I live in Athens. I am 22 years old, I study engineering, and travel abroad occasionally.

PHILOSOPHY

I recently came to that conclusion: there is no common logic! It doesn't exist! If it was common everyone would have it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host, so I participate by surfing, but I haven't surfed yet

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None through the site, but through a network of "friends of friends". For example last summer I friend of mine hosted me and my fellow traveller in her flat in Barcelona on out way to the Canary islands. I have also surfed on a couch of a friend in Istanbul with some other travellers from Europe. Also another friend hosted me during a trip I had in Turin.

兴趣

I don't have much free time nowadays, I am trying to graduate so all my focus is on exams and my thesis!
In my free time I participate as a volunteer in a student organisation between technical universities. We mostly organise seminars, which engineering student from abroad can attend, and cultural exchanges between Athens and other cities, some students from abroad visit Athens for a few days, and some students from Athens visit them in another city.
Other than that I watch series. The most recent I have watched is "Under the Dome" (I love Stephen King) and a danish/swedish series called Broen. I also love reading books such as psychologican thrillers, crime and fantasy.

Books! I LOVE Stephen King. The Dark Tower series are my favourite books. And I read anything King writes a good review about such as Gyllian Flynn is amazing(you should read her books, they are the best psychological thrillers I have on my bookcase, I can't get bored of them) and Justin Cronin(The Passage is great science-fiction)
Of course I can't exclude G.R.R.Martin and the Song of Ice and Fire series. As you can see I love fantasy, but unfortunately I can't find enough time to read as much as I would like to.
Next book I want to read: The ground beneath her feet by Shalman Rusdi.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing I have done was to live for 5 months abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark! It was a wonderful experience to live on my own, take care of myself and explore a different country and way of living. I loved living there so I am thinking of applying for a job there after I get my diploma :)
