Hello everyone,

My name is Evian and I am an international student from China while studying in the US. I major in anthropology because I love to explore the diversity and richness of different cultures across the globe, which also ties to why I love traveling. I also take many elective classes across the college curriculum including history, museum studies, and biology.

Art and journalism are my two major passion and perhaps paths for career. I do photography, ceramics, and some collages.

This fall semester, from late August to mid-December, I am studying abroad in Paris, learning French and French cultures. I'd love to travel in France, practicing my French and of course travel in Europe too.

Actually I have known Couchsurfing for a while. You can see that I first registered in 2013, but I guess I was just never dare to try it out.

Now I am!

After traveling alone (living in mostly airbnb places and hostels) for years, I would love to have a taste couchsurfing. I am sure that I will love it.
