Hi, I am Evie from the Netherlands. I am very new to couchsurfing and still in the process of exploring what this platform has to offer. I hope there are hosts who are willing to have me, despite I don't have any hosting experience myself yet.

I enjoy meeting like-minded (and open-minded) people, going out for drinks and food, dancing, music festivals and travelling. At the moment I am on a solo trip in Asia for a few months.

My friend and neighbour hosted some lovely people I also got to meet and this inspired me to sign up too. I love meeting people from different places and get to know more about their way of life and cultures. I haven't had the chance to host yet, because I went travelling soon after I signed up.

I love (electronic) music with world/tribal/ethnic influences. I also love singer/songwriter kind of music. While I do watch them sometimes, I am not too much into movies/tv/series. I am more of a music-lover. I like to read things that I can learn from, spiritually (like books on Buddhism, meditation, etc). Also I like fantasy stories. I love to tantalise my imagination by reading about elves and fairies, enchanted forests and magical worlds. Actually I myself love writing bits and bobs about things like that and much more.

Recently quitting my job and give myself the chance to travel the world for a while. I was unhappy in this job for years, but I never before had the courage to choose for happiness rather than financial security. I love the feeling of freedom I experience at the moment.

I enjoy having deep conversations about all sorts of hippie stuff. Or talk about travelling: different cultures, places to visit food around the world. Also I love languages: I can teach you some Dutch and would love to learn some words in your language.

I can tell you about my travels, my home country and cook you some food if you like. I am an easygoing and open-minded person. It would be nice if a host is able to hang out for a bit and maybe show me some nice places to go.
