Trying to make a career out of parkour and circus arts, whilst convincing those around me that my first class honours and published work in Synthetic Chemistry were not a waste of time.

ABOUT ME

I lived in Busselton until I was 19, when I moved to the Big City (ha!) for Uni.
I studied chemistry at UWA, and love it so much.
I can be a bit odd, but don't worry, I can use the science.
I like to be found underwater (scuba), perching on a rockface (climbing), jumping on things (parkour), hanging from the ceiling (circus), dancing like a dickhead (punk music), in a whitecoat in a lab (chemistry) or drinking coffee.
I like people. I'm very open-minded, and very little offends me, expect for narrow-mindedness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a stupidly busy person, so mostly I can help by giving you advice. Tell me what you want to know about Perth and the South West, and I'll try to help. If you want to hang out, great! But I hope you like climbing, running, training, dancing, drinking, coffee, music, the beach, scuba, swimming.... something! I love meeting new people, but my schedule is so hectic usually it is by way of "Would you like to come to climb/a gig/parkour?"

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've had two nights of surfing peoples' couches, and I'm looking forward to extending that.

Mostly I meet people, I'm happy to show you around, show you how I live. I live with four others and we don't have tonnes of space, but so far we've hosted... The entire Australian national Handball team, a magician, a circus performer and some backpackers (now additional full time housemates).

My sister and mother have both been members for longer than me. My mother has had travelers stay with her, and my sister stayed with a family in Wales, that are now her in-laws.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like too much music to write about it. I am a punk at heart, but I will listen to almost anything, if it is loud, it is enthusiastic, played by dickheads, danceable, anything, as long as you care (or don't) enough.

I don't get time to watch many movies.
I read mostly scifi and nonfiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I honestly consider most things I do and see amazing, but that's just how I am. One thing, maybe not the most noteworthy, but that I do like to mention is shaving my head. I think it is an experience everyone should at least consider. I raised ~$AU3000 for it, which went to the Leukaemia Foundation.
Also, PROSH. Ask me about PROSH, if you have half an hour to be convinced that it's the best thing in my world.
