COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

heard about it from a fellow grad student in Europe in 2012. "Surfed" once so far officially, but love staying with friends and in real homes rather than hotels when possible. I stay in hostels a lot and worked in one in Boston for a year or so.

Interests

When I am overwhelmed/stressed at work, I travel.

Movies/books - sci fi, social justice (Get Out is amazing!!!), comedy (CHiPs, Austenland ...), sports (Fever Pitch, Necessary Roughness)

Music - lots of different genres, including country. I'm on a kick where I try to listen to a lot of stuff by women (Missy Elliott, Taylor Swift, Nina Simone, Beyonce, En Vogue, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Terri Clark, Ke$ha, Gaga, Madonna ...)
