I'm Evy, an enthusiastic 28-year old girl that grew up in a small village in Belgium. After going through high school I went to the university in Brussels and I finally got to know what an amazing city Brussels really is. It still took me 10 years to come to live here. I recently moved to Ixelles which is a fantastic part of Brussels and I feel totally at home here, I'm still exploring everything here and I sometimes feel like a tourist in my own country but I love it. I studied mathematics at the university and I am currently doing a PhD in mathematics/economics. Furthermore I love our Belgian beer and chocolate (as long as it is vegan, that's right, I'm vegan and proud) and can tell you all about it. I like to dance, walking around and lying in the sun and just enjoying life to the fullest.

Since I recently moved to Brussels I like to share my love relationship with Brussels with other people. I like to meet people from all around the world and I have a good couch :).

I totally love Jazz, whereas Billie Holiday is my absolute favorite. However I do like some serious dance music for going out. My all time favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice, and I am a huge Star Wars fan. As for books my all time favorites are Jane Austen and our own Belgian writer Amélie Nothomb.

I like to learn other languages and share experiences. Whereas I can definitely teach some maths, dutch and vegan cooking tips (I can imagine this last sentence is pretty bad publicity :)).

I will share my apartment in Ixelles (I live really close to place Flagey). From my place it will take you 10 minutes to go to the city center with public transport. On evenings and weekend I can guide you around to the nice places in Brussels if you need someone to show you around (during the week I am at work at the university).
