ABOUT ME

I am very open minded and enjoy meeting new people. Sometimes I tend to be a little shy but it doesn't take long for me to open up. I am funny and friendly . My friends always tell me that I make funny faces when I don't realise and I can be pretty clumsy sometimes, so I guess I am a bit of a clown! I always think of others first, and am always looking to help my friends.

I love food and eating! I could be eating all the time! My brother always jokes that I am a whale and the biggest person in the universe! I don't cook much but I really look forward to learning. What I love most is really spicy food. Sweets are fine too but not too much! At least my friends never have to worry that I will eat their sweets when I come over.

I love playing the piano and have been playing since I was 10. I love playing, I was once even in a band! It turns out that I prefer listening and just enjoying music rather than playing in front of a crowd. It was just too stressful and I didn't enjoy it us much as I thought I would. When I play at home for my family, I block everything else out and concentrate so much on the music that it is very relaxing.

I hate seaweed when I'm swimming. Once, on a holiday in Greece, I had to swim above it and I was terrified! Still, it's not as bad as my fear of spiders! When I see the big ones my heart stops and I feel like I can't move. Although I'm horrified, to my friends it is always great entertainment, because I just look hilarious!

PHILOSOPHY

If you have a parrot and you don't teach it to say,"Help, they've turned me into a parrot", you are wasting everybody's time.

Interests

Music plays a crucial role in my life. There's not one day when I'm not listening to music. I also revel in singing and playing the piano. I also love dancing, especially modern jazz

Music, Movies, and Books

As for me romantic comedies are horrors and horrors are comedies, especially when I'm watching them with friends. :) Nevertheless, I like both genres and also many others. I guess that I should watch more films instead of just series but I guess just get too attached to movie characters.

I music taste is pretty differentiated. I enjoy rock, alternative, blues, classical music, 80's and 90's pop, I even sometimes listen to melodic death metal. Oh and let's not forget about one of my favourite kind of music - sung poetry. The melody and the words helps me get into this other, better, more beautiful world.

When it comes to books, lately I have been a bit into science fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was on holiday with my family in the Dominican Republic, we were on a boat trip to another island and along the way, when we were in the middle of the ocean, with no land in sight, we were told by one of the crew to try getting out of the boat. We looked at him strangely as he insisted and when we stepped off the boat, we realised that we were standing in less than a foot of water! It was a bizarre feeling!
