ABOUT ME
I'm a senior at Rice University in Houston, TX majoring in English, but spending a lot more time working and hanging out with friends and sleeping and running than on that whole school thing. I'm extroverted, enthusiastic, and friendly.
PHILOSOPHY
Love God, love people: the rest falls into place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I got connected to Couchsurfing at the beginning of this summer, when my friend told me about it before I left for 2 months abroad. My initial experiences were great and now I'm eager for more! As of now, my experiences have been limited to surfing, but I'm excited to get to host when I get back to the States!
Interests
The basics: soccer (watching and playing and yelling about it), skiing, running, reading, writing, talking, watching movies, meeting new people, hanging out with old friends.
On a more abstract level: food (especially pasta and fruit), education (especially cultural differences), gender (what it means to be male/female and how people interpret it), spirituality (who are we and who is God?) and people (I guess, ideally, eating my favorite foods and talking about my favorite subjects with people ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most recently, hiking up to Arthur Seat, the peak of these hills that overlook Edinburgh, Scotland. The hike was invigorating and then the wind was so strong, we had to be careful not to get blown over! All in all, an amazing experience and a much-earned beautiful view.
