I believe that knowledge and the human ability to work in a community are some of the most precious gifts that we need to keep and expand.

I love nature and feel that every being serves it's purpose and that both need to be protected and cared for. Especially with cities taking up more and more space we, need to find a way to coexist in harmony with nature in our cities.

I try to keep my meat intake down and have been exploring vegetarian recipes. I have also started to explore making things fully from scratch with (organic) produce. I general though, I love food quite a lot.

I am agnostic but as of recently have tried out a more spiritual path and would.love to learn more about that area of thought.

I enjoy moving around in general, even if it is "just" a relaxed walk in the park. I like.to hike and mountain bike and as of recently have developed an interest in rock climbing.

I also never travel alone. I always have at least one companion with me. Either a fantastical creature called Morph or a small monkey that I named George.

I am open to meet anybody and share what I know with everybody.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is an amazing way to meet people and hear things you would have never expected to hear. It is great for getting to know a city on a different level than just the touristic one.

Interests

I personally do Judo (have done it for around 4 years). I like to read and have a few books with me. I also watch a lot of movies and series.

I have started to get into urban planning with a focus on sustainable development and transportation planning, focusing on the human part of cities and the potential of a better integration of nature into cities (aka. solarpunkish city planning)

I also quite like the idea of solarpunk in general. This might mean something to some people and nothing to others.

I listen to electronic music but also Jazz, Reggae and Scottish, Irish and Nordic folk. My music taste is very broad so those are only examples of the music I listen to.

I read Fantasie and Sci-Fi but have also read books in the area of political science, etc.

Currently I am reading a book on Marx and Marxism and the ACOTAR series side by side.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went tubing on the Cowichan River and helped out on a farm for long enough to see all the stuff we planted ripen and being incredibly delicious.
