ABOUT US

We are two people from Poland and step by step we try to see the whole world:)

Mateusz - town planner by profession and also by penchant. In free time he is absorbing all the reportage books (about Poland, Eastern Europe, east, post-Soviet country...) and article in the internet. He is very interested in everything and always want to know more ;) All the time on move, also when he's not moving too far ;) He likes to try new things and is very persistent in pursuing his goals. His current mission is to be a tour guide and he is doing it :) You can go with him on tour and hear him talking all day about Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Transnistria or Romania, you won’t regret!

Ewelina - economist and tourist by profession ;) She likes numbers a lot, she can count them all the time and it doesn't have to be a money ;) She liked books too, but despite the reportage, sometimes she like to find oneself in word of murder mystery. In her free time she is doing some handicraft like cards or earrings. She is trying also experiment with the photography, but it’s going little contumaciously, she is hoping that the Asia trip will be good motivator :)

In our journeys we do not prefer popular, mainstream directions and places, but a little undiscovered, where people don't look in so often. Always with our backpacks, a small guidebook and of course it has to be cheaply!
On every trip we endeavor to take maximum, visit known and unknown things, taste local food and drinks, meet people and culture and what is the most important, feel the unique atmosphere.

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine
So we are trying to read as much pages of this book as possible. It is not easy, as the world is so enormous and diversified. Through people, their life, their stories you can get to know the ins and outs of the country. And that why the Couchsurfing is the perfect way to find those people, those stories. We want to meet them, we want to share with them all what we can.
