About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be happy :)

ABOUT ME

I finished history studies in the most beutiful city in Poland, which is Krakow. Now I work there as an editor in the publishing house - yes, I read for a living :)

I love that job but it's kind of exausting, so on weekends and during holidays I try to travel (mostly in Poland, but this year I'm plannig to visit France and Israel).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just want to meet new people and cultures - you can't do it in boring hotel rooms (and let's be honest - I'm not that rich to pay for these hotel rooms :)

I created this profile years ago, but I didn't use it so... these are my first steps :)

Interests

Movies! I just love them!

History - mostly connections between history and popular culture and oral history (interviewing people)

And of course reading books, but now it's my job so it's hard to find time to read something just for myself

Music, Movies, and Books

My friend once told me that every music video with a guy playing guitar or tambourine is something I wolud definitely watch and listen to and... that's true :) I just love folk rock :)

Movies? As I wrote - golden age of Hollywood (Frank Capra's masterpieces), talky movies like "Before sunrise" or "Garden state" and... Star Wars & Marvel movies! ^^

...and "Friends" series - Monica, Ross, Phoebe, Rachel, Joey i Chandler are kind of my family :P

Books? There's a lot of them - of course every tittle I work on, and reportages from "Czarne" Publishers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took part in great project about Polish emigration after World War II - I got opportunity to meet wonderful people who survived Siberia or Warsaw uprising and then emigrated to London - I could learn so much from them and it was amazing :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

There's so many stories to tell - it's always something you can teach and learn about countries you come from and different cultures :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary

Countries I’ve Lived In

England
