I am an easygoing and happy guy who loves to explore new places and meet interesting and creative people.

I grew up in downtown Chicago, IL, USA and have explored the majority of the United States throughout my childhood and adolescence. I would go on weekend trips with my Mother and Sister when I was growing up and later started traveling with friends and by myself.

In my free time some of my favorite things to do are explore new cities, shoot photos (I used to teach advanced darkroom film photography), read a good book, listen to music, and hangout and meet new people.

I am currently planing a trip to Europe for 35 days and I will be traveling solo. I have had friends do Couchsurfing before and they have told me great stories of the people they have been able to meet. I also feel that Couchsurfing is a great way to meet local people in the places I will be traveling.
