About Me
Hey! I just created this account last year but haven't been active haha so I'm not verified nor have lots of references yet, I'm guessing it'll take time to build up my profile, but anyway, I don't bite haha :)
I'm working in and studying about urbanism-related field; guess that's why I'm always drawn to walking around and hopping public transport
Of course all of us here likes traveling right? So I'm feeling I'm at the right place haha
I was also a part of organization called AIESEC Bandung and finished my Exchange Global Volunteer; still can't get enough to have more friends from around the world :)
Don't hesitate to buzz me questions, let's get along! ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I know how it feels to be only by yourself in a foreign country or places you're unfamiliar with
"Stranger danger" is so common everywhere and I just want to prove it wrong, I believe being a friend with locals will enhance traveling and communication experience, also to broaden our horizon :)
World is too huge to understand by ourselves, by knowing people and getting exposure from other parts of Indonesia or from another side of the planet, will make each of our lives be enriched, so let's share some perspectives!
Interests
I'm basically open to anything, I have broad interests and simply want to experience everything this universe could offer ;)
- cats
- photography
- walking
- hiking
- badminton
- philosophy
- urban exploration
- urbanism
- public transportation
- public space
Music, Movies, and Books
Music :
50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, oldies are my all time faves
but I also listen to Pops, Indies, Soul, RnB and EDMs, basically, I'm open to every genre
Movies :
Everything by Christoper Nolan and Yorgos Lanthimos hahaha, generally I'm not into drama and romance, I love mindfucking movies, anything psychological with a plot twist, thriller, sci-fi, some horror
Books :
Every book by Roald Dahl and every manga by Naoki Urasawa
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What makes me value life the most is how people with different background, knowledge, character, habits, etc can connect with each other, as if there's no boundaries
I love how more number of diversities makes more complex unity and it just so colorful :)
Several things I did abroad by myself are solo traveling, 6-week volunteering, and winning a competition, so those time when I'm alone with strangers from around the world are the times I feel most alive
Teach, Learn, Share
Especially for foreigners, I can be your local native buddy :) I'll teach you Indonesian phrases and show you some stuffs for introduction before you arrive, and when you're here I can tell you lots of things like culture and languages, and teach you how to adapt and blend in
If I'm available I don't mind to accompany you, I love walking! I'm more than happy to have a walking companion ;) although I can't cook haha but I can take you to various places with public transportation experience and for you to try local food :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
YOUR COMPANION! I'm all set up going anywhere to be your travel buddy, I can share stories and experiences and I'm excited to hear yours! I don't like to give people troubles so I will take care and be responsible of myself, also at the same time will be your friend :)
If you're traveling with me, I can take great pics of you ;)
